Privacy and telemetry
Brass Wings uses lightweight analytics to understand whether the game loads, how the courses perform, and where players crash or complete runs. The default telemetry is designed for aggregate product improvement, not personal profiling.
What is collected by default
- Page and game events such as landing view, add-to-glasses click, flight start, crash, victory, craft, course, score, fuel, and broad performance samples.
- Coarse request context provided by Cloudflare, such as country, colo, and user-agent family.
- A temporary session identifier stored in session storage so one visit can be understood as one session.
What is not collected by default
- No camera, microphone, or glasses sensor feed is collected.
- No raw IP address is written by the app telemetry endpoint.
- No callsign is sent unless a future opt-in explicitly says so.
- No advertising tracker, third-party cookie, or cross-site user profile is added by the app.
Optional user-level data
Future leaderboard or pilot-profile features may ask for explicit opt-in before storing a persistent pilot identifier. Until that opt-in exists, gameplay analytics should be read as aggregate beta telemetry.
